Professional Experience
-
December 2025-July 2026
In this role, I overlooked the planning and execution of events for Life Time members and guests, guiding each experience from the initial concept through on-site production. I manage budgets, vendors, permits, staffing, timelines, event walkthroughs, and detailed run-of-show plans while coordinating across departments to keep each team aligned. This position has strengthened my ability to lead complex operations, make real-time decisions, and transform creative ideas into organized and engaging experiences.

July 2025-December 2025
As an Event Coordinator at The Point, I managed weddings and corporate events from the planning stages through event-day execution. I served as a central point of contact for clients, vendors, and venue teams, translating each client’s vision into clear timelines and operational plans. This managerial role required me to coordinate multiple moving parts, communicate expectations, oversee on-site details, and respond calmly to changing needs while maintaining a high-quality guest experience.
-
January 2025-May 2025
As a Front Desk Agent at Del Mar Beach Hotel, I supported the guest experience from arrival through departure. I became familiar with returning guests and VIPs while carefully tracking individual preferences, requests, and special considerations to provide personalized service. I also communicated with hotel departments and helped resolve concerns with professionalism and care. This role strengthened my ability to anticipate needs, build guest relationships, and understand how thoughtful attention can shape the entire hospitality experience.

Fall 2024-Spring 2026
Working alongside the White Lace Design team gave me hands-on exposure to the thoughtful planning, detailed coordination, and intentional design behind luxury weddings. As a Wedding Assistant, I supported the team in bringing each couple’s vision to life and saw how every element, from the overall atmosphere to the smallest finishing touches, contributes to a cohesive celebration. This experience deepened my understanding of luxury event production and strengthened my appreciation for the care, timelines, precision, and creativity required to create a meaningful wedding experience.

September 2024-January 2025
Building on the restaurant experience I gained between 2021 and 2024, my position at Morena Provisions introduced me to the connection between front-of-house service, catering, and event operations. Because the location supported catering initiatives throughout San Diego, our team stayed informed about local events and changing service needs. These included events at The Rady Shell, Balboa Park, and private venues. This experience strengthened my ability to work in a fast-paced environment, anticipate operational demands, and understand how food service contributes to a successful event.
Leadership Experience
My leadership experience strengthened my ability to guide teams, organize large-scale initiatives, and create meaningful opportunities for connection and engagement.
Vice President of Membership Programming | Alpha Chi Omega, Gamma Nu Chapter
2023 to 2024
As Vice President of Membership Programming, I led year-round programming for a chapter of more than 300 members. From casual beach sisterhoods to large-scale events, I created experiences that encouraged participation, strengthened member satisfaction, and celebrated our chapter’s sense of community. I also incorporated brand partnerships and recruitment-focused programming to showcase our sisterhood to prospective members.
Parents Weekend was one of the chapter’s largest annual events, welcoming more than 500 registered members and guests. I led the experience from the initial concept through coordination and execution, creating a memorable celebration that brought members, families, and the wider chapter community together.
Vice President of Recruitment Assistant | Alpha Chi Omega, Gamma Nu Chapter
2025
In this role, I collaborated with the Vice President of Recruitment to prepare chapter members for formal recruitment through year-round planning, scheduling, training, and events. I supported marketing strategies that communicated our chapter’s values, philanthropy, and member experience to prospective new members. This position strengthened my ability to collaborate with leadership, communicate expectations, and prepare a large organization to work toward a shared goal.
Internship Experience
My international internship allowed me to apply my event education in a hands-on environment while gaining a broader perspective on teamwork, adaptability, and community-focused hospitality.
Event Coordinator Intern | Our Big Kitchen, Sydney, Australia
Summer 2025
During my internship with Our Big Kitchen, I supported an organization dedicated to preparing and distributing meals to individuals experiencing homelessness, shelters, churches, and families facing food insecurity throughout Sydney. Through team-building events at the organization’s headquarters, corporate and community groups worked together to prepare nearly 200 meals per day for people in need.
Groups from organizations such as Adobe, Salesforce, Westfield, and the U.S. Navy participated in these experiences to learn about the cause while actively contributing to the community. My role was to prepare each group for a successful event by organizing schedules, coordinating team assignments, setting up the necessary equipment, maintaining planning documents, and supporting on-site logistics. I helped ensure each workspace was organized and that participants had what they needed to prepare meals safely and efficiently.
One of the most meaningful experiences of my internship was supporting the CEO Sleepout, a large fundraising event focused on homelessness and access to shelter throughout New South Wales. Business leaders came together to raise funds and spend a night outdoors during the Australian winter, gaining greater awareness of the hardships faced by people without stable housing. Our Big Kitchen’s role was to prepare and provide enough food for those attending the event.
This experience showed me how thoughtful event coordination can serve a purpose beyond the event itself. It strengthened my adaptability, expanded my international perspective, and demonstrated how hospitality, teamwork, and community engagement can come together to create a meaningful impact.
